Strike PriceStrike Price
Understand what the strike price is and how strikes are listed for NIFTY options.Strike price kya hai aur NIFTY options me strikes kaise list hote hain, samjho.
π LessonLesson
The strike price is the fixed level in the option contract. A call's payoff starts above the strike; a put's payoff starts below it.
The exchange lists many strikes around the current NIFTY level, usually at regular intervals (for example every 50 points near the money). Together they form the option chain.
Which strike you choose changes everything: premium, probability of finishing in the money, and how fast the option reacts to NIFTY moves.
- Strikes near the current price cost more but react more.
- Strikes far from the current price are cheaper but less likely to finish in the money.
Strike price option contract ka fixed level hai. Call ka payoff strike ke upar shuru hota hai; put ka strike ke neeche.
Exchange current NIFTY level ke aas-paas kai strikes list karta hai, aam taur par regular gap par (jaise ATM ke paas har 50 point). Ye sab milkar option chain banate hain.
